Yesterday my beautiful bestie Kate and I went on a little road trip up to Alnwick Gardens. It only took an hour or so from where we live in the North East and still felt like a nice little break away for the day.
The weather was beautiful and we really enjoyed having a look around at the beautiful gardens full to the brim with gorgeous flowers in bloom.
I'm not sure if it is permitted! but we took our own food along and had a little picnic on the grass with some ciders in the sunshine, which was probably my favourite part. I also loved the different fountains, and the area on a hill full of cute wooden swings. Definitely a perfect day date location, and if you fancy a nice meal head to the Treehouse Restaurant which is the cutest place ever. In fact, just go there for a look around, grab a coffee from the cafe and explore across the rickety bridges.
As I'm a student I paid concession price which was £9.93 including a donation to Gift Aid which I think is great for a day out.
We also visited Alnwick Castle but sadly didn't go in as we're poor peasant souls. Another time ey!
I'd highly recommend heading up to Alnwick for a day out that's not too much of a trek from the Newcastle area. For more information head to alnwickgarden.com :)

Edinburgh Trip
Saturday, 26 October 2013
I recently went to Edinburgh with my uni class. We travelled up by coach and once we got there we were free to roam around and do as we pleased. As my friend Emily from my class is from Edinburgh she kindly offered to put a group of us up for the night! Which was fabulous because we all got to have a really fun night out and we got the train home the next day instead of rushing back on to the coach.
I loved this trip so much and thoroughly enjoyed the sights and meeting some new people, one of which I am in touch with on Facebook so I think I have made a new friend!
Here are a selection of pictures for you to enjoy! What a beautiful city :)

A week in Instagram pictures
Wednesday, 18 September 2013
So this week I've had some exciting things happening! It's freshers week and I started my foundation degree course on Monday at Newcastle College. It's taken me a while to get to this point so I'm very excited to get started, and proud to have made it here! I'll be studying Fashion Retail and Enterprise which will hopefully run perfectly alongside my new job at Topshop which I started a month ago :)
Anyway, here are a few snaps from the past 7 days of my life!
